Stallions Commit Byron Center Standout Connor Braate

The Stallions are excited to add 1st Team All-State forward and Byron Center High School Captain Connor Braate to the roster for the upcoming season!

Connor collected 27 points in his Senior season at Byron Center, with 12 goals and 15 assists to finish out his three year high school career. He led his team in points, and was selected to the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association 1st Team All-State. He was also named to his All-Conference team, and served as Bryon Centers Captain this past season.

“I decided I wanted to attend Western based off the successful Aviation program”, Braate said. “I felt the campus was a good fit and I had the opportunity to play hockey”.

“Connor had a great year for Byron, and his willingness to get into the dirty areas is something that caught our attention”, said Assistant Coach Alex Hufford. “He played a huge part in Bryon’s success this season, and we are excited to add him to our lineup”.

Braate will wear number 3 for the Stallions next year, and is the third commit for the 22 - 23 season.
