Game Notes: Stallions vs Oregon Ducks

OPPONENT: University of Oregon Ducks (3-7-0)

This is the first meeting between the Stallions and the Ducks. Oregon moved up to ACHA Division 1 hockey last season. They are on a Michigan trip and faced Lawrence Tech University on Friday and Saturday night. The Ducks earned a split, losing 0-7 on Friday and winning last night 4-3 in Overtime.

The Ducks leading scorer is #24 Nicholas Slayton (7-2-9) and their top goaltender is Rodney Peterson with a 3-4 record and a .856 Save Percentage.

The game on Sunday is also an opportunity to recognize the student athletes that compete in one of the 34 club sports teams. Last Action

The Stallions lost two close games vs #16 Grand Valley State University last weekend.

The Stallion lost 3-5 on Friday at home and 2-3 on Saturday at GVSU.

Stallions goals were scored by Lukwinski (2), Carnes, Collis, and Stein.


Thursday, January 11 at 7:30 pm vs #1 Adrian College in Adrian.

Friday, January 12 at 7:00 pm vs #12 Calvin University Knights at LAWSON ICE ARENA.

Saturday, January 13 at 6:30 pm vs #12 Calvin University Knights at Eagles Ice Center in Grand Rapids. There is no livestream for this game due to wireless signal. You can watch the game on the Calvin stream.
