OPPONENT: Northern Illinois University The Huskies come to town after an 0-4 start to the season. The Huskies are led by
Rodohan Evans (1-2) with 3 points and 2 others tied at 2. Grant Goodson and Caleb Cross both have over a .900 save percentage this season in goal. This is the fourth year in a row that the teams have played each other in September.
Last Weekend
The Stallions split the series with D2 Michigan State University.
The Stallions came up short 2-6 vs the Spartans at Munn Ice Arena. Tyle Lorring and Rory Neish had the Stallion goals. Saturday was the home opener and a much better game. Sparty scored first, but the Stallions were constantly applying pressure and outshot MSU 48-31. The Stallionsfinally got on the board when Connor Defouw scored the game tying goal with a great point shot in the 3rd period and Devon Collis stored the game winner with 8 minutes left.
NEXT WEEKEND
The Stallions head to Morgantown, West Virginia to play the Mountaineers in games on Friday and Saturday.
