Saturday Game Preview> After a pair of great wins last weekend vs Davenport University, the Stallions face another tough conference weekend against #15 Calvin.
The Knights are having a very good year, led by their freshman sensation #11 Krzystof Petryla who leads the team in scoring (19-28-47pts).
These teams play Friday at Wings West and will play again Saturday at Eagles Ice Center in Grand Rapids at 7:30 pm.
BROADCAST NOTE:
It is impossible for us to stream from the Eagles Ice Center, so we are not going to.
We will record the game and post it to our YouTube channel Sunday morning.

GLCHL League Games
While there are still a number of games to be played, the GLCHL first round opponents are coming into view. These two teams could play each other in the first round. The other possible opponents include Purdue Northwest or Grand Valley State University.
LAST WEEKEND
The Stallions continued to improve and delivered a gutsy performance against the Panthers from Davenport University, winning both games in Overtime!
The Friday night hero was #22 Tyler Lorring who finished a back post drive with a tip of a great pass from #19 Brandon Clark. The Stallions won 3-2.
Saturday night's overtime game-winner was delivered by #19 Brandon Clark when he was able to hit a deflected puck out of mid-air with a baseball swing of his hockey stick (lower than the crossbar) into the top corner of the net to deliver a 4-3 win.
This year's team joins the 2014 Stallions as the only teams that have been able to sweep the season series vs the Panthers.

NEXT WEEKEND
Join us early next weekend as the Stallions are proud to participate in the Youth Hockey Fights for Kids with Autism day-long event. There are silent auctions, chuck-a-pucks, event merch and more. This is a special event that you want to experience in person.
The Stallions host Eastern Michigan on Saturday at 8:15 and will be sporting their special event jerseys for the evening.
