Stallions Sign New Hampshire Avalanche Forward Layne Brubaker-Egner

The Stallions are excited to announce their fourth signing for the 23-24 season, signing Layne Brubaker-Egner, a Forward from the New Hampshire Avalanche in the Eastern Hockey League.
Layne comes to the Stallions after spending 2 seasons in the New Hampshire Avalanche organization, following a season with the Islanders Hockey Club. He put up 41 points in 55 games between the two New Hampshire programs, while only recording 12 penalty minutes. He plans to study Sport Management during his time at Western, and we are excited to have him on campus.
“While not being the biggest guy, Layne brings a physical presence with a tremendous amount of speed to his game, and will be a asset we can use up and down our lineup”, said Head Coach Alex Hufford.
