Stallions Sign Hitmen Goaltender Daniel Boylan

The Stallions Hockey Club at WMU is excited to announce our first commitment for the 2022 - 2023 season, signing Goaltender Daniel Boylan from the Jersey Hitmen!

“We’re glad to know that we have a very athletic and enthusiastic goaltender in our net”, said Head Coach Andy Reynolds. “It’s always nice to get the first commitment, and for us we are really excited for that to be Daniel”.

Daniel, a native of Lexington, Virginia, comes to the Stallions after spending time in the USPHL with the Jersey Hitmen, PAL Islanders, and Richmond Generals. He graduated from Stuart-Hall High School in 2019, before beginning his 3 year junior career. The 6’1”, 175 lb goaltender appeared in 14 games this season for the Hitmen, finishing with a 6-8-0 record with 1 shutout.

“The direction of the Stallion’s program, the variety of majors, and being able to work with two goalies as coaches really steered me towards WMU”, Daniel said. “The local music scene around Kalamazoo is just an added bonus”.

Daniel will number 35 for the Stallions, and we are excited to have him on campus next season!
