Stallions Sign Detroit Catholic Central Forward Matthew Rickabaugh

The Stallions Hockey Club at WMU are excited to sign forward Matthew Rickabaugh from Detroit Catholic Central High School!

Rickabaugh, from Commerce Township, MI, spent last season on Detroit Catholic Central’s Varsity squad, who won their 3rd straight MHSAA Division 1 State Championship. He plans to major in Business, and the Haworth College of Business is one of the main reasons he chose WMU.

“Matthew came out to our camp and instantly made an impact on the ice”, Assistant Coach Alex Hufford said. “His speed helps create scoring opportunities, and his patience in tough areas is something that will help him excel at this level”.

Matthew will wear number 28 for the Stallions next season, and is the second commit to the 22 - 23 recruiting class.
