Stallions Hire Associate Head Coach Drew Moffit

The Stallions are excited to announce an addition to the coaching staff, hiring Drew Moffit as the Associate Head Coach for the upcoming season.

Drew grew up playing hockey in the Kalamazoo area, and played his high school hockey at Portage Central High School. He recently completed his third season as the Head Coach of the Portage Muskies High School program, while also coaching a KOHA youth program for the past few seasons.

He has served as a scout for the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs, Kenai River Brown Bears, and Jamestown Rebels in the past. Currently, he is a scout for the Wichita Falls Warriors in the NAHL, and the Omaha Lancers in the USHL.

He also is serving as a board member for the Kalamazoo Youth Hockey Association, where he helps shape the youth hockey programs in the greater Kalamazoo area.

“Drew not only brings years of experience to the program, but also a strong presence on the scouting front”, said President Alex Hufford. “We are excited to have him join the staff, and look forward to the connections and opportunities he will bring”.
