The Stallions are also excited to commit Justin Satawa, a forward most recently playing for U18 AAA in the Little Caesars organization.
Justin grew up in Bloomfield Hills, and attended Bloomfield High School while playing for Little Caesars. Last season with Little Caesars, he put up 11 goals and 31 assists in his final season of AAA hockey. Prior to Little Caesars, he played for the Oakland Junior Grizzles, Meijer AAA, and Victory Honda AAA. Justin was drawn to Western by the feeling on campus, and during his time at WMU will work towards a Broadcast Journalism degree.
“He brings a very tactical mentality to the game”, Head Coach Andy Reynolds said. “His game play is strong due to his high hockey IQ, and we are excited to have him join our lineup”.
