OPPONENT View ACHA Game Preview> Grand Valley State University Lakers - Division 1 While both team are in the GLCHL, this is an early season non-league matchup between the clubs. This is the first of four games between the teams this year.

Grand Valley is 5-2 this season and is coming off a 1-7 loss to Adrian on Saturday night.

#26 Shane Haggerty (4-3-7pts) and #24 Eric Hulford (6-1-7pts) lead the Lakers again this year.


The Stallions travelled to Northern Illinois and swept the Huskies by scores of 7-1 and 5-4.

Friday's 7-1 win featured goals by Siewertsen (2), Stein (2), Tess, Patti, and Satawa.

Boylan was in net and got the W with 34 saves.

Saturday's 5-4 win was earned by Guelcher in net with 28 saves.

The Stallion goals were score by Thorhaug, Stein, Braate, Bigelow, and Olinger.

LEAGUE HONORS: The Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League honored 3 Stallions in their "Top Performers of the Week" recognition.
